Today, Congresswoman Maxine Waters (D-CA), Chairwoman of the House Committee on Financial Services, announced the following virtual hearings in the month of March:
- March 10 at 10:00 AM ET: The full Committee will convene for a virtual hearing entitled, “Justice for All: Achieving Racial Equity Through Fair Access to Housing and Financial Services.”
- March 11 at 10:00 AM ET: The Subcommittee on Consumer Protection and Financial Institutions will convene for a virtual hearing entitled, “Slipping Through the Cracks: Policy Options to Help America’s Consumer During the Pandemic.”
- March 16 at 12:00 PM ET: The Subcommittee on Housing, Community Development and Insurance will convene for a virtual hearing entitled, “Preserving a Lifeline: Examining Public Housing in a Pandemic.”
- March 17 at 12:00 PM ET: The full Committee will convene for a virtual hearing entitled, “Game Stopped? Who Wins and Loses When Short Sellers, Social Media, and Retail Investors Collide, Part II.”
- March 18 at 12:00 PM ET: The Subcommittee on Diversity and Inclusion will convene for a virtual hearing entitled, “By the Numbers: How Diversity Data Can Measure Commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.”
- March 19 at 12:00 PM ET: The Subcommittee on National Security, International Development and Monetary Policy will convene for a virtual hearing entitled, “Ending Exploitation: How the Financial System Can Work to Dismantle the Business of Human Trafficking.”
- March 23 at 12:00 PM ET: The full Committee will convene for a virtual hearing entitled, “Oversight of the Treasury Department’s and Federal Reserve’s Pandemic Response.”

For virtual hearings, all Members and witnesses participate remotely with no in-person participation in the hearing room.
