Today, Congresswoman Maxine Waters (D-CA), Chairwoman of the House Committee on Financial Services announced the following updates to the June Committee schedule:
- NEW FORMAT: June 25 at 12:00 PM – The Subcommittee on Investor Protection, Entrepreneurship, and Capital Markets hearing entitled, “Capital Markets and Emergency Lending in the COVID-19 Era,” will convene in a “hybrid” format, which provides for remote Member participation or Member participation from the Committee hearing room.
- POSTPONED: The Subcommittee on Housing, Community Development, and Insurance virtual hearing entitled, “Insuring Against a Pandemic: Challenges and Solutions for Policyholders and Insurers,” has been postponed due to changes in the House calendar and will convene at a date to be determined.
Members of the public and the media can view the livestreamed hearing at /live/. To ensure social distancing as required by the Attending Physician of the U.S. Congress, access to the hearing room will be limited to Members, Committee staff, and witnesses.
