Committee Republicans just voted to block an amendment from Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) which would have forced the release of Jeffrey Epstein’s financial files, and particularly details about his shady and suspicious financial transactions. Recent reports revealed billions of dollars in payments to women, including those in Belarus and Russia.

Unfortunately, Committee Republicans voted to BLOCK the release of these files.

Committee Republicans’ vote to block the release of these transactions comes just hours after Speaker Mike Johnson moved to shut down the House until September in order to prevent a vote to release the Epstein files. Despite Donald Trump and House Republicans promising a transparent government and a release of these files, they are now doing everything they can to stop this information from becoming public. They would rather protect the elite than give the American people the truth.
