Minority Views

After the committee votes to order the bill reported, the minority party has the right to submit their own supplemental, minority, or dissenting views for printing as part of the committee's report on the bill.

Supplemental, dissenting or additional views are generally filed to express or clarify a concern with the bill being reported, a single provision within a bill, another issue or to make additional arguments against the measure or a provision of it.
